About Us

We're here because camp gave us everything. And if we can make your life a little easier during hiring season, that feels like the right way to give back.

Our Story Starts on the Water

In the early part of my career, I worked at camps across Canada: Partners For Youth in New Brunswick, Outward Bound in Temagami and the Bay of Fundy, and Camp Dare in South River. Those years shaped who I am more than anything else I've done.

Origin story: I met my wife, Karen, at Partners For Youth. The camp sits on North Lake, one of those beautiful spots that straddles the US-Canada border.

On one trip, a storm pushed our group across to the US side, and we had no choice but to land there. So picture this: a bunch of cold, soggy campers carrying canoes and gear down the road to US customs, where our camp van eventually came to pick us up. Nothing says "trust us with your kids" quite like explaining to parents why their children made an unexpected trip across an international border.

So Why Now?

Because we're surrounded by seasonal businesses like camps, outdoor programs, you name it, and every single year, we watch them hit the same wall: the seasonal hiring crunch.

Now more than ever, camps face increased competition and higher expectations. Every returning staff member represents someone who deeply understands your camp culture and can mentor others.

Our family wanted to make a small contribution to helping these businesses. We're here because camp gave us everything. And if we can make your life a little easier during hiring season, that feels like the right way to give back.

Let's Talk

If any of this sounds familiar, or if you just want to swap camp stories, we'd love to hear from you. Seriously.

We're in this because we care. We're camp people. Just like you.
